For my 3D modeling class, we were asked to build an environment. I grew up in Saudi Arabia and felt inspired by Islamic geometric patterns and traditional Saudi Arabian architecture (partly out of nostalgia). I collected a few images of different Majlis's (gathering room) and created my own open space version, located in the middle of a desert. Saudi coffee pots and cups, wooden tables, clay (food) pots, and Persian rug. Modeling, texture, and lighting built from scratch.
Created and rendered on Autodesk Maya. Fall 2020.
